Dr. Gayathri Shenoy was born and raised in Dubai. She received her dental degree in India and her D.M.D and training in Periodontology and Dental Implantology from Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Shenoy is Board certified in Periodontology and Dental Implantology. She maintains a private practice in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Periodontology at the School of Dentistry, University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. Shenoy’s special surgical interest lies in regenerative therapy in Periodontology and implant/peri-implant site development.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Alabama Oral Health Coalition (AOHC), International Team for Implantology (ITI) and American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD). She has lectured on interdisciplinary and interprofessional patient care at local dental study clubs and international academic institutions.
