Dr. Waldemar D. Polido is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, with an MS and PhD degree from the PUCRS School of Dentistry, Porto Alegre, RS, Brasil. Dr. Polido did his Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Polido is an active ITI Fellow and Speaker lecturing extensively worldwide. He collaborates frequently with the Osteoscience Foundation, and as a reviewer for the main journals in OMFS and Implantology. Dr. Polido currently holds a position as a Clinical Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He is the Co-Director of the Center for Implant, Esthetic and Innovative Dentistry at The Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis
